Christmas Tutorial

Materials
Selection in selection folder
Brush in a separate folder
Open your kleuren.jpg (colors) and tubes in PSP

1.
Open a new image 500x400

Open from your ZIP the kleuren.jpg (color)
Choose the light color as foreground, the dark as background
Make a gradient Radial

Flood fill your empty image with this gradient
Effects – Border effects-enhance
Effects – Border effects-enhance more
3.
Copy your Santa Claus tube and paste as new layer.
Move it to the left
Drop shadow

Repeat with -3/-3

4.
New Raster layer
Load selection from disk-kerstgerry1

Use gold pattern and flood fill your selection
Selection Modify-Contract 1
Press delete
New Raster layer
Flood fill with your dark color (cebeaa)
Layer opacity 55
Drop shadow as in 3
Merge- Merge down
Select none

Go to the bottom layer
New Raster layer
Select your airbrush kerstgerry –size 500
Brush it above right next to your Santa Claus
Use your dark color
Load selection from disk _kerstgerry1
press delete button,
the brush is gone under your transparent layer
Select none

6.
Go to top layer
Copy the candle tube and paste it as new layer
Move it to the right corner at the bottom of your image

New Raster layer
Select your text tool with these settings and write Merry

New Raster layer, write Christmas
Drop shadow 1-1-65-1 color Black
Merge visible layers

8.
Select all- Contract 2
Selection Invert – flood fill with Gold
Select none
Image-Canvas size 600x500
Give image a drop shadow 10-10-100-100 Black
Repeat -10/-10
Copy and paste Xmasfloral tube as new layer place it to the left bottom
over your image and transparent layer
Drop shadow 3-3-100-3 Black
Repeat with -3/-3
Add your watermark on a new layer
Merge visible layers

9.
We would like to let the flame move of course
Select your free hand tool

Make a selection around the flame
Use your magnifier to increase your image
Duplicate this layer twice
Go to the lowest layer
(Lock the other layers)
Effects –Eye Candy 4000- Fire
Settings-Basic- 90 (Top left)
These are the settings- OK

Unlock the middle layer- (lock the other)
Effects –Eye Candy 4000- Fire
Random Seed (button left bottom )

Unlock the top layer (lock the other)
Effects –Eye Candy 4000- Fire
Random Seed (button left bottom )

Select none
Save this image as PSP file

second part

10.
Open a new image 600x500
Colors as in 1
Gradient Sunburst

Flood fill your image
Effects-Border effects-Enhance
Effects-Border effects-Enhance more
Effects-FM Tile Tools- Blend Emboss
Repeat twice

13.
Effects L&K-L&K ‘s Pia 81
Add border 2 pixels color # 530300 or # 004101
Select with your magic wand all black blocks with these settings

Flood fill with Red or Green from your color image from the ZIP
Green is also very nice (I can’t choose )
Maintain selection
Duplicate this layer twice. Now you have 3 layers

14.
Lock the top layers and go to the lowest layer
Effects-VDL Adrenaline – Snowflakes

Lock this layer and unlock the second layer
Use the same filter- Random Seed 2
Lock this layer and go to the top layer
Use the same filter- Random Seed 3
Select none

15.
Go to the top layer
Go to the lowest layer of your first image
Copy and paste on your second image
Repeat this with the second en the third layer
Now you have 3 Background layers
and 3 Santa Claus layers

Merge visible :the lowest background and the Santa Claus layer
Lock the other layers before merging !!!
Lock the merged layer
Unlock the second layer and the second Santa
Merge visible layers
Lock merged layer
Repeat with the last layers
You have 3 merged layers left.
Unlock

16.
Copy lowest layer-Open Animation Shop
paste as new animation
Copy the second layer in PSP
Paste it after active frame in Animation Shop
Repeat with your third layer

Click with right mouse button on your image in Animation Shop
Frame Properties 20
Animation- Modify animation

Save it as gif animation
You Christmas tag is done
